Homeopathy is based on the principle that minute doses of homeopathically prepared substances can cure the same symptoms that these substances cause when taken in their crude form. Specially prepared remedies are given to stimulate the body to heal itself, so restoring balance and well being.

I've booked my homeopathy appointment, what can I expect?
Your initial homeopathy consultation will last approximately 75 minutes, providing a relaxed environment in which to discuss your symptoms and say how you would like homeopathy to help you.
You will be asked questions about your symptoms and also about your physical, mental and emotional well-being. From this information individual remedies will be chosen. Remedies are given either in the form of pleasant tasting tablets which dissolve under the tongue (they may be crushed to a fine powder for babies and small children) or as a liquid in a dropper bottle.
Subsequent consultations are usually at monthly intervals and last approximately 45 minutes. They follow a similar format and include a discussion about any changes in your symptoms since your last consultation.
